Receiving & stock
Record delivered materials, finalize receipts and keep stock changes traceable.
Products → Receiving, Stock adjustments and Checkout items
Before you begin
- The supplier purchase order and the delivered materials.
- The actual quantity and cost received for each line.
How to use it
- 1
Start from the purchase order
Open Receiving and select a purchase order that is available to receive. Check the supplier and order number.
- 2
Enter what arrived
Record received quantities, dates and costs for the material lines. Use the delivered quantities rather than copying the ordered amount automatically.
- 3
Save your progress
Save the receipt and review any outstanding quantity. Correct mistakes while the receipt is still editable.
- 4
Finalize the receipt
Review every line before finalizing. Finalization posts the receipt into the inventory workflow and locks the completed record.
- 5
Record other stock changes
Use Stock adjustments or Checkout items for the relevant non-receipt change. Review any import preview before applying a stock update.

You’re ready when…
The receipt matches the delivery and the inventory records reflect the intended quantities.
Common questions
Can I change a finalized receipt?
Finalized receipt lines are locked. Review the stock record and use the appropriate correction workflow with your administrator instead of trying to edit the original draft.
