Where to find it

Products → Product catalog

Before you begin

  • Know whether you are working on a parent, subproduct, or vendor-imported product.
  • Use an account with the catalog permissions needed for the action.

01Find the right product

Products is the catalog list. Select a product name to open its settings; use Preview to open its customer page when that link is available.

Search and filters help you narrow the list before changing a product. Deleted products must be restored before their name can open the editor.

ControlWhat it does
SearchFind products by the search text. Clear it if a product appears missing.
StatusNarrow the list by product status. Check this when looking for a new inactive or deleted item.
Pricing methodFind products using a particular pricing structure before reviewing prices.
GroupingShows related grouped products together. Subproducts have links to their own settings.

02Recognize the product type

Product information controls the name, type, and short presentation. Choose the product type for the way it is sold: print dimensions, weight-based goods, or a service.

This banner is a dimension-based physical product. Use as page H1 keeps its name as the primary page heading.
ControlWhat it does
Use as page H1Uses the product name as the main page heading when the theme renders it.
Subtitle and colorsControls the short line displayed with the name and its colors. Advanced subtitle layout supports a richer HTML/CSS layout.
Save presentationSaves the product information section. Description and search appearance has a separate Save content action.

03The 12 sections of the product editor

Open a product and select Manage beside a section. The section list can show the underlying names below even when a card uses a simpler heading. Save a section before moving to another one.

ControlWhat it does
Product information / Identity and visibilityName, short subtitle, product type, H1 choice, colors, search tags, categories, search exclusion, featured placement, and eligible dropship presentation.
Description and search appearance / SEO and mediaURL path, search title and description, long description, video, and FAQs. A linked custom page can own this content instead.
Media and print artwork / Images and supplied artworkGallery images, image usage and fit, alternative text, captions, order, and optional supplied front/back print files.
Dimensions and printed sidesFixed-size rows or variable width/height limits and defaults. The separate artwork section controls offered print sides.
PricingPricing method, retail/wholesale rates, price breaks, base charges, area discounts, and quantity discounts.
Customer pricingProduct price rules based on customer signup dates. These can lock price-break structure while they exist.
Product optionsAttach shared groups; include values, choose defaults, set surcharges and their basis, configure exclusions and value-level artwork/material rules. Eligible products also have SKU variants.
Artwork and storefront controlsCustomer artwork requirement, printed/default sides, designer patterns, and visible fields on the purchase form.
ShippingPackaging, weight, freight, pickup, and shipping controls for the item.
InventoryStock tracking, linked materials/SKUs, availability, and fulfillment rules.
SubproductsMaterials or variations under a parent product. The parent owns shared identity, storefront text, and gallery; child-specific production and pricing settings are edited on the child.
Design templatesWhich reusable artwork designs customers can start from. This differs from saving the whole product configuration as a product template.

04Create, clone, activate, and restore

Product actions affect the record as a whole. Save any section edits first.

ControlWhat it does
Create productCreates an inactive product with standard unit pricing. Finish its settings before activation.
Clone productCopies the saved configuration to a new name and URL. Unsaved edits are not included.
Change statusActivates or deactivates the product. Review any affected subproducts and grouped listings in the confirmation.
Save as templateSaves a reusable product configuration recipe. It does not change the product itself.
Saved revisionsCompares saved product text and page content with current content. Restoring applies only the fields shown; it is not a rollback of every product setting.
Delete productMoves the product into Deleted products. Review the affected subproducts/groups. Restore through the catalog when appropriate.

05Work on the correct parent or child

A subproduct inherits shared presentation from its parent. When you see a notice that a section is managed on the parent, use Open parent product. Change the child’s own pricing, sizing, shipping, options, inventory, or artwork settings in the child record.

You’re ready when…

You can identify the right product, choose the section that owns the setting, save it, and verify the relevant storefront result.
