Where to find it

Products → your product → Dimensions and printed sides.

Before you begin

  • The product must require customer artwork or provide artwork for sizing to be available.
  • Vendor-imported products can have vendor-controlled dimensions.

01Set the available sizes

Open Dimensions and printed sides. This panel sets the size choices and limits; the artwork panel controls which printed sides are offered. Enter dimensions in inches.

  1. Choose Variable for Sizing type so customers can type a width and height.
  2. Set width to a minimum of 12, maximum of 120, and default of 36. Set height to a minimum of 12, maximum of 60, and default of 24.
  3. Leave Length / depth at 0 for this flat example. Use the real depth and shipping setup for products where depth affects fulfillment.
  4. Select Save sizing. Keep each default within the minimum and maximum you entered.
Width and height have separate minimum, maximum, and default values. The example opens at 36 × 24 inches.

02Offer fixed sizes

Choose Fixed when customers should select from sizes you define. Each row needs a label, width, height, and depth; the width and height must be at least 1 inch.

  1. Select Fixed and add a size row for each size you sell. For example, Small: 24 × 18 inches with depth 0; Large: 36 × 24 inches with depth 0.
  2. Choose Storefront size label: Dimensions, Label only, or Label and dimensions. Check the preview under each row.
  3. Select Save sizing and reopen the section to verify the rows. If pricing uses size-specific tiers, check those rows after changing size labels.
ControlWhat it does
LabelThe saved name of the size. It can be chosen from reusable labels or entered for the product.
Width / HeightThe physical print dimensions in inches. The label alone does not define the size.
Length / depthThe third dimension used where applicable, including shipping calculations. Zero is permitted.
Storefront label previewShows how the saved label and dimensions will be combined for the customer.

03Make size controls available

If sizes are saved but hidden from customers, check Size under Artwork and storefront controls. If that switch is disabled, check whether customer artwork is required and whether the product type supports it.

You’re ready when…

The storefront offers only the intended fixed sizes or allowed custom range, starts with the correct defaults, and quotes the chosen dimensions.

Common questions

Do the reusable Sizes entries define the product’s dimensions?

They provide reusable labels. The product’s fixed-size rows hold the actual width, height, and depth.

Why are my size fields read-only?

Check whether the product is imported, deleted, or has neither required nor supplied artwork. The panel shows why sizing is unavailable.
